Year One

Happy Anniversary to us! Brady and I have officially wrapped up the first year and unleashed the next. We consumed the first twelve months of our journey together as experience junkies, traveling from place, to place, to place, with only what we could pack (with much precision) into the back of our RAV4. We have been to Seattle, Utah, Arizona, Mexico, Nevada, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Chicago, and several Texas cities since our wedding, and we will soon embark on an anniversary trip to the Dominican Republic, followed by a "business" cruise to the Bahamas (hard life). When we return, we will visit, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona in a quest to find somewhere that we might want to call our own... or for at least long enough to finish unwrapping our wedding gifts. People are always asking us where we are from, where we live, and where we are headed. We always just turn to each other, smile and say "well, right now this is home". For us, being in it together, whatever that might be, gives us the comfort of "Home Sweet Home". We've been called Gypsies, Nomads, Adventurer's, and the like, but for us we are just doing what feels right. The continual change has encouraged us to rely on each other for stability, support, comfort, familiarity, and all the things that seem to keep people sane, and that alone has created the strongest of bonds between us, because no matter what we are up to, he is there, I am there, and we are in it together... Forever! And, don't be surprised if we come knocking on your door anytime soon... it could happen (:
